have been thinking about how we remythologise a lot over the past couple of years.

in the boys' literacy project I work on in secondary school, they are grabbed by the mythic tales but also the frameworks (hero's journey et al) and know a lot more than you'd expect about greek myths and so on.

would be down to chat ideas

I think you've put forward some interesting ideas here. I can see the overlap with the anglofuturism crowd (although they tend to be more right wing in their general outlook).

I especially love the idea of offering a Bildungsroman bundle to every 18-year-old with a uk-wide rail pass. I mean that is genuinely genius.

However, I may have missed this element of your proposal, but I think it lacks a conception of ownership. It seems to me that a project of national renewal ought to coincide with a project of distribution of ownership and democracy in people's workplaces and community. For example, you discuss reshoring "sovereign capabilities and industrial supply chains where possible via automation". I think this is a laudible goal but who will own these automated supply chains and soveign capabilities? Foreign investors, UK corporations, the state or the people?

I think that part of the national decline seems to be that too few people in this country have any ownership over their lives (housing, the businesses they work for etc

...) or any ability to meaningfully have a say in how things are managed. This creates fertile grounds for progress to halt and decline to set in. A spiritual vision can be articulated but how will people see that they will materially as well as spiritually benefit from this project?

I wonder if you feel any need to elaborate on this dillema in your proposal. Who owns Albion now and who will own it when it is a sovereign Albion?

Thanks for the article and ideas.
